Transforming downstream processing for Lentivirus
Tozaro is developing a suite of smart polymers that bind the VSV-G membrane protein of lentivirus with gentle release conditions. With the development pipeline of lentivirus based therapies growing, scalable purification that does not impact viral infectivity is urgently required. There are extremely limited commercially available capture chromatography solutions to date, and releasing the viral particles without impacting infectivity remains a challenge. By utilizing our in-silico design process and chemical manufacture, we aim to achieve extremely mild release conditions to ensure the viral infectivity remains intact.
